Repair or replace? We'll tell you straight

Not every tired slider needs to come out. A door that grinds, sticks or won't lock is often a worn roller, a dirty or bent track, or a lock that needs adjusting. Those are usually quicker and simpler fixes, and we would rather fix a good door than sell you a new one.

Replacement makes sense when the frame is bent or damaged, when the dual-pane glass has failed and turned foggy, when the door has been repaired several times and keeps giving trouble, or when you simply want a door that seals and slides like new. Arizona heat, dust and monsoon debris are hard on tracks, rollers and seals, and an older door can start letting in hot air and grit even when it still opens.

During your free in-home quote, we look at the door, the track and the frame, explain what we see, and give you a flat-rate price for the option that fits. If a roller replacement will do the job, we'll say so. New customers can take $50 off any sliding door roller replacement; mention the offer when you call (480) 741-2405. It ends December 24, 2026.

We replace and install doors from the brands Valley homes commonly have, including Andersen, Pella, Milgard, Marvin, Jeld-Wen, Simonton, Anlin, Fleetwood, Atrium, Therma-Tru, Quanex, Reliabilt, Peachtree, Ply Gem and Hurd. That includes large-panel and multi-slide Fleetwood and Milgard doors, which are common in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley homes.

Sliding door replacement questions

How much does it cost to replace a sliding glass door?

It depends on the size, the brand, the glass and the condition of the frame, so we don't post a one-size price. We give you a free in-home quote with upfront, flat-rate pricing and no surprise fees, and we'll tell you if a repair would cost less than replacing the door.

Should I repair or replace my sliding door?

If the problem is a worn roller, a dirty track or a lock that's out of line, repair is usually enough. Replacement is worth considering for a bent frame, failed glass or a door that keeps needing work. We'll explain both options at the quote.

My sliding glass door is hard to slide or grinding. Do I need a new door?

Often not. Worn rollers or a dirty or damaged track are the usual causes, and both can be repaired. If the track and frame are too far gone, replacement is the better answer.

My sliding door came off the track. What should I do?

Glass doors are heavy, so be careful and don't force it. If it won't go back easily, call us at (480) 741-2405 and ask about same-day service.

The glass in my slider is foggy. Is that a problem?

Fog between the panes usually means the dual-pane seal has failed, which can let more of Arizona's heat through. Depending on the door, we can replace the glass or the whole door, and we'll give you a flat-rate price for either.

The glass broke. What now?

Keep people and pets away from the opening and call us. We'll tell you whether replacing just the glass or the full door makes more sense.

Can weatherstripping help a drafty slider instead?

Sometimes. Worn seals let in heat and dust, and we offer sliding door weatherstripping. If the door itself is the problem, we'll say so.

What if I call after hours?
