A sliding door that works again, without the runaround

A sliding door gets used every day, and in Chandler it also takes a beating from sun, dust and the occasional monsoon storm. Rollers wear down, tracks fill with grit, weatherstripping dries out and cracks, and locks stop lining up with the keeper. Most of these problems start small. A door that is a little hard to slide today can come off its track next month.

Sundial Sliding Doors is a locally owned sliding and patio door specialist, owned by Ayden Shlomo. Our shop is at 2301 East Osborn Road in Phoenix, and we drive to Chandler homes to repair, replace and install sliding glass doors, patio doors and sliding screen doors.

Here is how we handle a repair call. A technician comes to your home, looks at the door, and tells you what is wrong. You get a free, no-pressure quote with upfront pricing and no surprise fees. If you want us to go ahead, the same technician who gave you the quote does the work. Most repairs are finished in a single visit, and we offer same-day service, so call and ask what is open today.

We are a new company, founded in 2026, so we will not point to a long list of reviews or years in business. What we can promise is how the job goes: clear answers, a fair flat-rate price, and one person who knows your door from start to finish.

Sliding door questions from Chandler homeowners

Why is my sliding glass door hard to slide or grinding?

Usually it is worn rollers, a dirty or damaged track, or both. Desert dust and grit build up in the track and wear the rollers. We check both and tell you whether cleaning, new rollers or track repair will fix it.

My sliding door came off the track. Can I lift it back on?

Glass doors are heavy and can be hard to handle, so be careful and don't force it. A door that keeps coming off usually has worn rollers or a bent track, so lifting it back is only a short-term fix. Call us and ask about same-day service.

My sliding door won't lock or the latch doesn't line up. What can be done?

Often the lock or keeper only needs adjusting. If the parts are worn or broken, we replace them. We will tell you which it is before you pay anything.

The glass is broken or shattered. What should I do?

Keep people and pets away from the opening and don't handle loose glass. Call us and we will tell you whether the glass alone can be replaced or whether the whole door should be replaced.

How much does roller replacement cost in Chandler?

We price every job upfront at a flat rate, with no surprise fees, after looking at your door. New customers also get $50 off any sliding door roller replacement through December 24, 2026. Mention the offer when you call.

Should I repair or replace my sliding door?

If the frame is sound, repair is often the better choice. Replacement makes more sense when the frame is damaged or the door is worn out. We give you an honest quote for either, with no pressure to buy.

Why is my slider drafty, and can weatherstripping help?

Sun and heat dry out weatherstripping until it no longer seals. That lets in dust and hot air and can make cooling harder. We replace sliding door weatherstripping to help close those gaps.

Can you repair a sliding screen door?

Yes. We repair screen doors that are off the track, have a torn screen or have a bent frame, and we will tell you if replacing the door makes more sense.

Can you match handles and parts for my brand of door?

We service and install Andersen, Pella, Milgard, Marvin, Jeld-Wen, Simonton, Fleetwood, Therma-Tru, Hurd and other brands. Tell us your brand when you call, or we will identify it at the quote.

What are your hours?

Monday to Thursday 7 AM to 7 PM, Friday 7 AM to 5 PM, Sunday 7 AM to 7 PM. We are closed Saturdays and major holidays. After hours, leave a message and we will call you back the next business day.
